How Do I Determine the Right Football Helmet Size and Fit?

Proper helmet fit is extremely important for players. While we provide sizing guides to help you select a helmet, it is not possible to properly fit a football helmet online.

Field-Use Helmet Sizing:

• Age: Players ages 14 and older should transition to an adult football helmet, following applicable league and manufacturer requirements.

• Measure: Using a soft measuring tape, measure the circumference of your head just above your eyebrows, keeping the tape level around your head.

• Check the Size Chart: Refer to the manufacturer's sizing chart on the helmet's product page to determine which size corresponds to your measurement.

• Verify the Fit: Head shapes vary, and measurements alone cannot guarantee a proper fit. Helmets should be professionally fitted and checked in person before being used on the field.
